Nature at its best

While going through my older posts, I let all good/bad memories rush back, taking me through the phases I have been into. It has indeed been a pleasant journey. In my recent trip to Mc'Loyd ganj, I got a chance to be with myself, roam around on the streets alone, and to just lose myself. Away from the 'Real' world, this place felt like a dream. No comparisons, greed, jealousy, competition and haste - just a sense of contentment. I guess this would be the highest level of bliss. To enjoy the voyage, without worrying about the goal/final destination, delivers complete freedom. Its all about discovering your own self apart from discovering the encompassing world. When you meet silence, you hear your soul speaking. You feel God's presence. You are overwhelmed by the spread of nature and you appreciate its beauty. The warmth of sunshine, touch of the clouds, moisture of the dew, pleasing sight of the greenery around, freezing waterfall from the mountains and the prevalent pe...

Maamis in Dilli...

Time to update you about our Maamis. Much to the delight and relief of our Mumbaiya Maami, after a lot of hue and cry caused by her in the Mumbai office, she has finally succeeded in coming right back to her own ‘ilaaka’(territory) Delhi. As soon as she landed in Delhi on the 1st of July, not just the typical heat/humidity in the afternoon welcomed her, but all the memories associated with her life in Delhi started rushing back to her. This literally made her feel dizzy and faint (well it was more because she didn’t eat anything since morning). So after a refreshing break of 5 days, when she joined office, she found out that once again she was as lost as ever amidst a new set of hyperactive people. However, this junta was more active in displaying its elocutionary communication skills (which is quite a dominant characteristic in any sales man/woman) rather than professional ethics. Somewhere she was relieved to feel the same warmth in people around her, to which she was quite used to f...

Triple_X

Don't get me wrong seeing the title of this entry. This is all about corporate banking (and not pron). Well, I take pride in saying that I am part of the triple X team in my bank because 3X is our revenue target for the coming financial year. Now, everything is official about it, apart from the name, of course, which has been given by none other than our GK. Well, this team comprises of 4 of us - GK, MS, SG and me. After the 'maami'dom enjoyed by me in IMT, I never imagined that I would ever be part of a team like Triple_X. You know me quite well, so I don't need to explain my role in the group. I was the enthu cutlet and Drama queen in my team, always suggesting some or the other get-away options from work place. Also, I was seen as my boss's clone (mainly due to my style of speech). Let us concentrate on the other characteres. GK - First impression - Serious, dedicated, hard working, intelligent. Once you know him well, you know he is fun-loving, with strong value...

Disillusioned...

Can't believe its been such a long time since I have blogged! Have undergone lot of changes during this period of half a year. Seen Mumbai (not fully though), met bright people who are driven towards achieving their goals(which is usually to earn more and more), met knowledgeable people who are stuck with a wrong job, met confused people (like me) who don't have the slightest clue where their lives are heading to and I met people who have attained 'nirvana' and are just doing what they have been doing for a long time. I once asked my friend Mr. KVK, what he would like to do if there was really no need for him to earn money. He simply said, nothing. Then I questioned him further, how can one survive by doing nothing. He told me that it was quite simple and he is just waiting to reach that stage. However, I, in turn, thought wheher one can ever reach that stage. There is no end to this game of earning money. One's lifestyle can keep improving and the standards of comp...
