Maami Jazzing her way on Streets

Now comes SM's turn. After paying a salute to her never dying spirit in life, (I shall never get tired of this!) let me get a little elaborative on her recent engagements - love counselor to some of her specific friends and Free-style dance, for which she has joined formal classes.

As far as counseling goes, her understanding has evolved from one track focus on objective parameters of Tam Bram Mamas to letting oneself lose in love to find Mr. Right (the community issue though still remains). She has almost assumed the role of a psychologist who analyzes your behaviour pattern and helps in getting out the inherent reasons for the same (All my sympathies go to such poor souls who are subjected to this torture). She somehow manages to convince her victim on how right she is in her judgement.

As SM's discipline has always remained unquestionable, she is quite religious in attending her dance classes twice a week. Apart from being a stress-buster, it helps her being in shape (now you know what's in there!?). The list of her achievements has one more recent addition. SM is all set to give a live performance of Street Jazz on stage in front of a huge gathering of audience in a stadium! Maami in Street Jazz?! Well, Bharatnatyam/Kuchipudi would have probably suited her more. SM doing Jazzy steps, in the traditional Bharatnatyam attire is all I can imagine! (quite scary...) Her instructor keeps on reminding her that she needs to look more hot in her moves in her practice sessions, though she isn't able to get rid of her tom-boyishness (something she is born with and hence is quite inseparable!). There is also a great probability of the troupe members getting hurt a bit here and there as we all know what happens when SM gets into action.

Show some mercy on the audience is all I can say.

Maami Series - Something about the Kurta

The Path I fear to tread...

There is a path I fear to tread. I know it would not lead me to my destination. But it is enticing me. I am divided into two schools of thought. One says, "listen to your heart", and the other says, "stay focussed on your goal". I am trying to help others come out of their gloom. But who will rescue me from this mire! Being a girl...

Ever asked a girl how does it feel being of the female gender? Now you would say when I never asked a guy, what is so special being a girl? I would say, it wouldn't have been if the Indian society wouldn't been a male chauvinistic society. People say it is the weaker sex, the reason being that we are dependent on our male counterparts for leading our lives.
